So our last show for our winter set is in Cleveland on February 12th at the grog shop and we are finally at the point where we are going to hit the studio for the first half of our new album! We have worked very painstakingly hard to work and rework these songs to get them perfect for you and we finally feel like they are where they need to be.  

We have a great writing process as a band and locking ourselves in a basement for hours and playing the songs has really helped us mold and create a product that is “the best we have ever written.”  Trust me when I say that this new album will be a masterpiece of musical quality from which Antaean’s musical present and future will be defined.

We will be hitting the studio February 17, 18, 24, 25, and at that point we should have about 6 songs almost if not completely completed.  We will be filming in the studio everyday and will put video blogs up on youtube.  Search for “Antaean in the Studio” and you should be able to find our clips and snip-its of our music now.  We also have old recording sessions from past albums on there too!

Hey all. It has been a while since we have posted on here but we have been hard at work still working on the album and playing shows.  We are at about the 3/4 point of the album having about 8 songs almost completely finished and we are down to the last 3! We will be hitting the studio here coming up in the final two weeks in February.  We are planning on then taking a short 1 month vacation and then returning to the studio in April along with many upcoming tour dates to promote the upcoming album.  Here is a list of shows we will be playing before we hit the studio be sure to check us out at one of these locations:

Today marks the halfway mark in writing for the new CD! we are halfway through writing the songs and lyrics and we all are VERY happy how its going.  We have another 5 and 1/2 songs to finish for February when we will be heading into the studio which one has yet to be determined.  We will be taking the next month to finish up the writing, and then we will be hitting the circut hard with 3 tour dates already in Jan before we record in Feb. and March and will hopefully have the full CD for all of you in April! Just in time to rock for summer!

Antaean

Now with 5 songs completed for the new full length CD, we are playing a show at scarlet and grey in Columbus Ohio to unveil a new song (which will be on the album) and to rock out one last time before the new year.   We will be Friday the 18th (next friday at S&G and will be rocking it out for an hour in old antaean fashion! Be there or be square!

Writing writing and more writing is the name of the game right now.  We have about 4 songs lyrically and musically solid for the new album.  That doesn’t mean that things wont still change in the songs, that just means we have a solid idea of where they are going.  Practice with the band tomorrow and we shall see where it takes the rest of the songs :-)

ROCK on Rock hard Rock often!

HELLO ALL! Sorry that we haven’t been on here in a long time but there is a lot going on with Antaean! We are right now working on our FIRST FULL CD! Yes that’s right you heard it were doing a 10-12 song full CD which were hoping to be done writing and hopefully well into recording by the end of the year.  We are already well into the writing process and everything is going well.  We have a good solid 10 ideas that we have been mapping out and turning our fine Antaean riffs into well constructed epic rock songs.  We are looking like we maybe going a little different direction then our previous 3 EP’s.  Don’t worry guys, it will still be the good ole’ Antaean, it just seems like we will be a little heavier in the guitar and drum arena.  This bass will be as epic as always.

After a successful year so far, with many shows, a music video, airplay, and so much more, we are taking a short break from playing to work a bit more on our CD, but we will soon have shows coming in the next month or 2.
